Hi! I’m Lyla — I am currently a student at the University of Oregon pursuing a major in Advertising and a minor in Sociology. 

I launched Lids by Ly in the summer of 2023 because I noticed students leaning into gear that was insinuating Oregon or was "ironically ducks."  People still want to show their Oregon pride, while wearing something that coincides with their personal style and that was the very idea that sparked the original lid. 

I am passionate about deeply understanding audiences' behaviors and perspectives and tailoring content and products to them. 

When I am not making graphics for the LBL Instagram or designing new hats, you can find me on the hunt for the best pho in Eugene, attempting to play pool, or overanalyzing every ad I see.
